HBO’s The Last of Us isn’t the only successful series for PlayStation Productions this year. A new report says that Twisted Metal is Peacock’s “most-binged” comedy premiere so far.

According to Deadline, Twisted Metal is one of Peacock’s top five original series that has debuted on the streaming service, joining Bel Air and Poker Face. NBC Universal reportedly noted that an average account is going through three episodes of the series during a single viewing.

In addition, over 400 million minutes of Twisted Metal were watched on the first weekend for the show after the Peacock series went live on July 27, per Nielson. That apparently made it one of the most-viewed streaming originals for that week.

Twisted Metal is based on the car-combat video game franchise of the same name on PlayStation. The demolition derby series started back in 1995, with the latest mainline entry arriving over a decade ago in 2012.

The Twisted Metal TV show is a post-apocalyptic comedy series starring Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), and Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, Spider-Man 3). It also features Will Arnett voicing the iconic character Sweet Tooth, with AEW star Samoa Joe providing the physical performance.

The Peacock series also seems to show love and respect toward the source material. In fact, GameSpot highlighted 56 Easter eggs and references that you may have missed in Twisted Metal.

All 10 episodes of Twisted Metal are available to stream now on Peacock.
