Pokemon Presents February 2024: Start Time And How To Watch

Pokemon Presents is almost here, as February 27 marks the date for a brand-new livestream and the 1996 Japanese release date of the original Pokemon Red and Green games. The Pokemon Company is preparing to show what’s next for the franchise that has grown tremendously over the decades, and here’s a look at when you can tune in, where to watch Pokemon Presents, and what to expect from this year’s event.

When does the Pokemon Presents 2024 livestream start?

Grab a seat, brew a hot cup of tea, and settle in at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 2 PM GMT to watch the new Pokemon Presents.

Where to watch Pokemon Presents 2024

As usual, you can watch the livestream through the official Pokemon YouTube channel.

What to expect from Pokemon Presents 2024

Typically, a Pokemon Presents broadcast focuses on the Pokemon franchise in total and encompasses new games, updates to existing titles, and sneak peeks at upcoming animated series set in the world of pocket monsters. Recently, we’ve seen Pokemon get a delightful stop-motion animated series set inside of a hotel resort (Pokemon Concierge) and Ash Ketchum passed the baton to a new generation of trainers as the longrunning Pokemon anime series continues to tell exciting stories focused on the Paldea region of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

As for the games, there’s no shortage of titles here. We’ve seen several mobile games debut in past livestreams and spin-offs like Pokemon Cafe Remix, New Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX land on the Switch. But what fans really want to know, is what’s next for the mainline Pokemon franchise?

Are we getting a Pokemon Black and White remake this year?

We’ve had several remakes of mainline Pokemon games over the years, and there is speculation about which generation is getting a refresh on the Switch next. A Pokemon Black and White remake might have been teased in the August 2023 Pokemon Presents, but there’s also speculation that players could return to the Johto region in a Pokemon Gold and Silver remake instead.

Or maybe we’re due for a new spin-off, following in the footsteps of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. There’s only one way to find out for definite, and that’s to catch today’s livestream.
