PDP announced a new white variant of its modular Victrix Pro BFG wireless controller for PlayStation. We’re already huge fans of the Victrix Pro BFG, naming it one of our favorite pro controllers available for consoles and PC, and this new model looks to have all the same features as the other Victrix Pro BFG controllers–albeit with a new white color scheme and neon purple accents.
$179
PDP’s Victrix Pro BFG is a modular controller that ships with multiple components that can be swapped on the fly. The modules include:
- Reversible left module with D-pad and thumbstick
- Right module with thumbstick and four face buttons
- Alternate six buttons-right module designed for fighting games
- Three D-pad styles
- Two thumbstick lengths with convex or concave thumb pads
- Two thumbstick gate options
These modules let you customize the controller’s physical layout, but there are additional frills like adjustable trigger clutch sensitivity and four mappable back paddles you can also save up to three profiles for and swap between with the press of a button.
This version of the Victrix Pro BFG works with PS5, PS4, and Windows, and has the same buttons and other features you would expect to find on any other PlayStation pad, including the touchpad and 3.5mm audio jack (with support for Sony 3D Audio on PS5). Windows users can also use the Victrix Control Hub app to create custom audio EQs, update the controller’s firmware, and more.
The white Victrix Pro BFG wireless PlayStation controller launches February 29 for $179, and preorders are available now at Amazon.
A similar white Xbox-specific model will launch a few weeks later on March 30 for $179, and preorders are also up at Amazon. These new options join a lineup of other Victrix Pro BFG models that are available now, including the standard black models for PlayStation and Xbox, and two special-edition Call of Duty versions that are exclusive to PlayStation.
