Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Gold Saucer minigames and rewards guide
The Gold Saucer returns in all its glory in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. You get to visit this ridiculously over-the-top theme park during Chapter 8: All That Glitters. Here’s a quick summary of what this journey entails:
- Chapter 6: Fool’s Paradise takes place in Costa del Sol. It’s also where you partake in several minigames to obtain swimsutis and alternate outfits.
- Meanwhile, Chapter 7: Those Left Behind leads you through the town and mines of Corel.
- Upon riding the cable car to Gold Saucer, you won’t be able to fast travel to other regions for quite some time. As such, you can tackle of side objectives before going to the theme park, or you can revisit certain areas later at the start of Chapter 9: The Planet Stirs.
The first time you visit Gold Saucer in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’re greeted by the manager, Dio, which also serves as an introduction to the 3D Brawler minigame. From there, you do some straightforward objectives, and then you get to check out the park’s attractions. Here are a couple of tidbits that are worth noting:
- You can use the Guide Moogle to fast travel to other areas of the theme park.
- Successfully winning minigames nets you Gold Saucer Points (GP). This currency is used to purchase all sorts of rewards, which we’ll get to later in our guide.
- Minigames tend to have rewards based on a score tiering system. You can also retry these matches to amass GP based on the highest tier that you reached.
