As part of the Level Infinite Showcase at Gamescom, the company shared more details about its upcoming Assassin’s Creed mobile game, Codename Jade. The game now has a full and final title–Assassin’s Creed Jade–and a new trailer has landed. The game was previously known as Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade.
The trailer shows off a lot of what you would expect from an Assassin’s Creed game, featuring sequences involving stealth, parkour, and all-out action. The game is set in ancient China, marking the second Assassin’s Creed game in China after Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. Here’s the trailer:
Additionally, Level Infinite announced that a second closed beta test for Jade will take place “soon.” Fans can register for the beta test at Jade’s website.
A few other Assassin’s Creed games are also on the horizon, as this year will see the launch of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in October and a new Assassin’s Creed game for Netflix later. Looking further out, Ubisoft plans to release Assassin’s Creed Infinity as a hub for the series going forward.
Beyond games, Netflix is producing live-action and animated Assassin’s Creed TV series.
