One of the best pro-style controllers for PS5 is now available to preorder for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Announced for Xbox in December, the Victrix Pro BFG wireless controller is live at Amazon for $180 ahead of its March 30 release. Like the existing PlayStation version, the Xbox Pro BFG has a modular design with ample customizable features allowing players to create their preferred button layouts and swap between different configurations on the fly. The Xbox edition of the Pro BFG is compatible with PC (as is the PlayStation edition).
The Xbox Pro BFG edition features the standard Xbox controller’s button labels, including the share, menu, and Xbox dashboard buttons, and comes in either white or black color schemes.
The Xbox Pro BFG ships with three main modules, including a reversible left module with a thumbstick and D-pad and two right modules–one with the standard four face buttons and thumbstick, and another with six face buttons designed for fighting games. It also comes with four interchangeable thumbsticks with varying lengths and either concave or convex tops, four thumbstick gates (which change which positions the thumbsticks can move to), and three D-pad styles. All of the components are neatly stored in a hardshell carrying case.
Along with the modular components, the Pro BFG features adjustable trigger sensitivity, four remappable back buttons, and customizable trigger locks.
The Xbox version essentially mirrors the PlayStation edition in terms of features. We count the Pro BFG as one of the best pro controllers on PS5, so the Xbox version is definitely worth considering.
You can read more about the controller in our PlayStation Victrix Pro BFG review. PS5 and PC players can also pick up the PlayStation version at Amazon for $174, or the special Call of Duty Midnight Mask edition for $200. There is also the Call of Duty Las Almas edition, though it was sold out at the time of writing.
